The Influence of Globalization on Usability
Software development has become one of the most worldwide markets and it has made great effort to accommodate different kinds of users from all across the globe. Cultures and societies have always had their own customs and manners and this shows even in the considerably more secluded world of computer sciences as adaptability in the best cases or even inoperability in the worst. This research shows what kind of things scientists and developers have made to make software and Internet usability better in other cultures than our own and how this has changed the landscape that is usability. After the initial research there is discussion on which direction to take global interface design and what to make of the state of usability in a cross-cultural setting.
